How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

There is no staff roster to browse here. Requestsrepresents Plumbing is a referral service. When you reach out, you are routed to an independent local provider in our network.

That provider is a separate business. They give the diagnosis, the quote and the repair. We help you reach them.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a few plain questions. What is happening? Where in the house? Is water still running? Is there a smell, a backup or a flooded floor?

If water is spreading, say so first. If you can safely reach the main shutoff, the provider may talk you through closing it.

Then the provider will explain the next step. That might be a visit, a short list of options or a request for photos. Availability and hours vary by provider.

What to Ask a Plumber

A few questions protect your budget and your calendar:

  • Can I have the quote in writing before work starts?
  • What is included, and what could change the price?
  • Is there a fee just to come and look?
  • How long will the work take, and will water be off?
  • How will you protect floors, walls and the yard?
  • What licensing and insurance do you carry?
  • Is there a warranty on parts or labor, and what does it cover?

Quote before work is the simplest rule. If the scope changes mid-job, ask for the change in writing too.

Comparing Two Quotes

For larger jobs, such as a sewer line repair, a second quote is reasonable. Compare the scope, not just the total. One quote may include a camera inspection or cleanup. Another may not.

You Are in Control

You can say no. You can ask for time. You can ask to schedule around your family's week when the problem allows.

Some providers may offer help documenting damage for an insurance claim. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your own policy.
